I have seen several posts with people being thyroid patients and having hivesThe onset of my hives started 9/22/2021They have been horrendous to say the least
Ended up in the emergency room on 10/3/21 where I couldn’t breathe and wheezing. They used an EPI, pepcid and a couple other things and so far so good. Just a min flare up in some spots. But now gone
The hives would come and go. I would wake up; they would be in patches- by the evening they would go away. Just to have the whole cycle start all over. Was taking Benadryl and Zyrtec. Nothing helps. Finally got into see the allergist and had labs done.
I have an appointment to go back for allergy testing as well
Just strange that it has happened to several people around the same time. I wonder if the medication had a contamination of some sort. I am taking Brand Synthroid 88’s
Just so strange

Hey I have been getting hives too but I take levothyroxine accord. I think I’m under Medicated and that’s the reason! I’ve just been prescribed T3! I hope it helps x
My labs are not back yet. And for the most part I am gluten free. I am bot celiac - but its best to not have gluten with hypo/ Hashi. I think my levels are low. Is that what causes hives. Its just nuts
I am searching this issue. Same thing happened here for me. I am taking Carbimazole according to my GP's recommended dose. I started taking Carbimazole back in 12 Oct. Nothing changes significantly to my body. But last Saturday (30 Oct) , I started having these small whitish redish bumps on my fingers and joints. Then later i figured out that I am having hives. Really painful and cannot sleep until now. It has been 4 days. Took Zyrtec and Claritin but still having hives all over the body. Hopeful that my GP will have answer for this when I meet him tomorrow.
