Radio frequency ablation

Hello

Has anyone had RFA (Radio frequency ablation) for their thyroid nodules recently? I live in Shropshire in the Midlands, but my local hospitals (Telford and Shrewsbury) don't offer this. I would prefer to have it locally, but I am prepared to travel a reasonable distance if I had to.

I would prefer to have it carried out on the NHS obviously, but would be prepared to go private if I had to.

I would appreciate any help or advice. Many thanks
