T3 5mcg in AM and 2.5mcg at 2.30pm (1.5 hours after lunch)
Please see below recent bloods.
Some days I lack energy and cannot concentrate at work/brain fog. Some days I really struggle to function and have to go lie which is OK as I’m working from home. If we go back to commuting to work I’m going to struggle!
Also some aches and pains in the body.
Very tight muscles in my legs - despite no major physical activity.
I’m not losing weight despite following a good diet. We know that diet helps to lose weight more than exercise.
Do I need more Levo as T4 consistently dropping despite dose being constant dosage?
Can I bring my Lio back up by increasing my dosage to 10mcg again? (Had only reduced it as I was overly emotional after a close family bereavement and suspected that caused mood swings which were exacerbated by Lio)
Seeing new Endo tomorrow so would appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance
NB I have seen 3 different Endos and they all have their own way of testing. One wanted to test 5-6 hours after having T3 in the morning. The other said take it at 7am and test at 9am (which gave false highs - idiot!) and the current one says to test at 9am fasted (ie no meds).

It's odd the way your FT4 has been bouncing around. Unless it's been affected by sometimes taking Levo prior to testing and sometimes day before. With T3 at top of range your endo may want to leave that as is and focus on raising T4. Would be interesting to see if that affects symptoms as much as T3 changes. Hope it goes well with new endo.
Hi, your results seem to jump about a lot don’t they? You’ve made only the tiniest changes over time yet you have really different results. Sorry I do t know what that means. - maybe some days you’re not absorbing well cos you’re eating calcium too close to meds or drinking coffee or taking meds that affect absorption..! Anyway the reason I came here was because I was searching for answers to tight muscles - it’s driving me mad - did you find any solutions?
Yes I’d raise lio - I know this post is from months ago - as the only way I’ve lost weight was to get T3 over 6 then try to avoid sugar.
Did you find a solution to the tight muscles, only thing that loosened mine was week 2 on Lio. Even my physio was astounded at the change, but then the tightness came back sadly and doesn’t leave!
For those who are interested, my latest results are much better and I also feel better.
The only thing that’s changed is I opened a new bottle of Lio. Clearly something was wrong with the other batch. I have flagged to the pharmacy who have been in touch with the manufacturer Sigmapharm but so far it seems like an isolated case.
