Vitamin D is best as a liquid as it gets absorbed better, so BetterYou Vitamin D spray, If you do a search on Google you will often find it cheaper than in the high street.

The "group" doesn't reckon there's a best one. Each individual will have their own preference.
Tablets are poorly absorbed, capsules are next poorly absorbed so these two forms are probably best avoided.
The oral spray (eg Better You) is absorbed via the mucous membranes in the oral cavity so bypass the stomach. This may be better for people who have absorption problems. One thing to bear in mind with oral sprays is that they contain a lot of excipients, unnecessary "nasties" that some people may react to and some people prefer to avoid.
My preference is for an oil based softgel and my preferred brand is Doctor's Best, it is a very small softgel, easy to swallow, budget friendly and contains just two excipients - D3 and extra virgin olive oil to aid absorption of the D3.
There are also sublingual drops but again check for unnecessary added ingredients and how many drops you need to take for the dose you need.
