Recovery Time from Levothyroxine side effects
How long is a piece of string unfortunately.
Bloods should be retested 6-8 weeks after any dose change or brand change in levothyroxine
How much levothyroxine are you currently taking
When were thyroid and vitamin testing last done
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested.
Also EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially with autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto’s or Ord’s thyroiditis)
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins

I went from Teva to Aristo, although I’m not lactose sensitive as far as I was aware. I’ve now requested I try ones with lactose in, like Mercury.
I’ve not felt my best and Teva is the worse of the two so suspect mannitol is culprit, it took me more than a month but we all have different rates on how we detoxify from things.
Hope you feel better soon.
I don't know the answer but drink plenty of water to enable your body to recover somewhat and you can get back onto an even keel.
I'm sorry your feeling so unwell. I am not medically qualified but maybe taking one anti-histamine tablet might help.
