Hi Babalena15,

I’m unsure if there is a link between bruising and thyroid issues & I hope someone knowledgeable than I will be able to advise.

I bruise easily (& did for years before I had any thyroid issue) and I find that applying arnica cream straight after a bruise appears helps it fade more quickly. This is the cream I use from Amazon:

Nelsons Arnicare Arnica Cream Traditionally Used For The Relief Of Bruises, Homeopathic Remedy, 50 g amazon.co.uk/dp/B0013GAQQI/...

Hi Babalena15, It does seem unusual mainly in your fingers, so would tell your GP. Are you on any blood thinning meds? Even then, would be more generalised bruising. Don't know of any connection with Levothyroxine, don't think listed in side effects. As Buddy195 says, Arnica might be helpful but definitely mention to GP.

Hello Babalena15. I have been taking Levothyroxine since about 2000 and I don't seem to bruise excessively. I would mention this to your GP on your next visit if it is of concern to you. Best wishes
