If so please drop me a DM. I’d like to know the importation charges/implications.

Thanks

U.K. Prescriptions no longer accepted in EU

U.K. specialist pharmacies are able to supply Thybon Henning 20mcg tablets at £1 per tablet

Eg Roseway Labs

Receptura are taking prescriptions if it is €150 or over.

Yep. They’re in the process of taking my order but I am wondering if it’s going to cost a fortune in import duty.

Yes…looks like 2.5% of the value - £3.75

That’s much better than I expected!

So far as I am aware, there is no duty on medicines.

There is VAT. An order over £135/€150 will probably mean that the courier company will demand that VAT plus their charges. Whilst VAT is easy enough to work out - a flat 20% of the invoice value - the courier's charges might be more difficult to identify in advance.

Thanks Helvella. A bit more pricy and difficult to predict. I was hoping someone would have done a recent order.

Even if they had, the courier companies each have their own systems of charging, and the charges appear to have changed more than once since brexit. So what someone else paid might not be what you have to pay.

You will have to pay VAT too. At our 20% rate. So customs charge for the import and VAT.

This is because over €150 handling of the VAT is relatively simple, you - the customer - has to pay the VAT to the HMRC before the packet is delivered once it's cleared customs. Under €150 the VAT rules are different and more convoluted for the seller.
