Bluecrest Wellness Health Assessment

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone had tried the Bluecrest Wellness Health Assessment.

I started off with Autoimmune hypothyroidism and Pernicious Anaemia and now I seem to be collecting further autoimmune, neurological and genetic disorders at an alarming rate. The latest (genetic) being hemochromatosis (iron overload) and Gilbert's disease. After years of having iron deficiency anaemia, I now find I am producing too much! I only found out through having my thyroid blood test results from Medichecks.

Just to see if I have anything else looming in the pipeline, I was thinking of having the Bluecrest Wellness Health Assessment or if anyone knows of any other "top to toe" health assessments that they could recommend (maybe by private message if we are not allowed to recommend).

Many thanks.

Anne

Anaemia is not a straightforward issue, as you have found. You can still be anaemic even with iron overload, which results in elevated haemoglobin and rbc levels. This is why the causes of anaemia should always be investigated, as supplementing can cause unwanted adverse reactions. My partner is anaemic but his haematologist cannot prescribe iron supplements or B12 due to his high blood levels.

Thanks Partner20, that's very interesting. I have been told to not to take iron supplements and not have too much iron in my diet. I have pernicious anemia, so I have to have regular B12 injections.

I hope your partner is finding ways to manage his symptoms.

Thanks again for your reply.
