hello. i read somewhere that quercetin can inhibit thyroid function, anyone know if this is right? i have been taking it as an antiviral and senolytic.
if so i wonder if there is a list anywhere of supplements to be avoided? I gather alpha lipoic acid is one (i also took that), and someone said fisetin, all things that have been lauded by the biohacking anti-ageing brigade.
thanks

Studies on larger amounts have isolated one mechanism and not taken into account the benefits on others, so giving misleading reports. Small amounts of both ALA & quercetin are advocated for use in Hashi sufferers by Datis Kharrazian & Isabella Wentz when mixed in other combos.
I recently had experienced with L-Carnitine after a few days I was having hypo symptoms. I too would love a list of avoid nutrients that are not conducive for thyroid med dependent patients.
