Getting hold of liothyronine

I take liothyronine and am looking for a less expensive way of procuring it. I have heard that some people get it from Europe. How do I go about this? Do I need to see a doctor abroad?

It used to be that UK prescriptions could be sent to some German pharmacies and they would dispense Thybon Henning 20mcg liothyronine much cheaper than here in the UK. However, since Brexit this is no longer possible.

If you have a prescription, have you contacted the UK pharmacies listed on ThyroidUK's main website to check their prices:

Thybon Henning liothyronine is available for £1 per tablet, I believe Roseway charges this price but you could also check others.

That is the cheapest way to buy with a prescription.

Or are you looking to buy without prescription?

Thanks very much for your reply. I have bought some from a private pharmacy in the UK that costs about £2.50 per 5mcg tablet. These are easier for me as I take 5mcg, 5mcg, 7.5mcg in 3 doses throughout the day. This costs me about £3000 a year, which seems a lot to pay for medication.
