Your TSH is suppressed. This is because you are taking T3 meds and is - in my opinion - nothing to worry about (mine is the same)

Free T4 is 42% through range. Some people taking lio find their free T4 drops as free T3 rises, while people just on levo need both frees nice and high to feel well.

Free T3 is 55% through range. I'd want that a bit higher myself - but you are you - so how do you feel?

If not tip-top, I'd be inclined to increase levo by 25 mcg a day, to try and increase both free T4 and free T3 x

No not on T3 atm my NHS Endo was saying be is going to give me a 3 month trial t3 I see him tomorrow first time in over a year I was wondering what all the other test results were okay iron etc I'm feeling very fatigued hairloss has got worse nails thin n flaky all on 100mcg Levo

Sorry - your profile referred to you taking lio ... If you're not on it, I'm not sure you need it as these results show good conversion - just a levo dose increase and see what that does.

Hair loss etc can be down to poor nutrients - have you tested / optimised ferritin, folate, vit D and B12?

Don't know much about iron so am tagging humanbean and SeasideSusie x

Good Morning Yes I was on it a long while ago but Endo wanted me to go back on T4 only so seeing him today face to face after over a year but I'm thinking maybe iron related too had private bloods done plus those above I did get feed back on here re my iron but still trying to understand it I really do think some of this iron related my b12, vit d,folate all good my ferritin has only just dropped lower from being unusually high for me for months and being told I have small red blood cells so its me understanding it all I did get some feed back on here but I'm still trying to get my head around iron related results

Endocrinologists have been directed to try to persuade their hypothyroid patients who are on T3, to return to T4.

T3 has become enormously expensive and that's the reason they want to reduce cost to the NHS.

Some of us cannot recover our health on levothyroxine and those who do will not be searching the internet for advice/help.

If your Endo is determined not to prescribe T3 - ask if you can trial T4/T3 combination. That might work, but if not and on your next appointment ask for T3 to be reinstated.

Hi There he said on the phone 2 weeks ago a trial of T3 again I'll see him today but I'm concerned my iron might be a issue too as well

You need vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested regularly When were they last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Was test done as early as possible in morning before eating or drinking anything other than water and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

Do you always get same brand levothyroxine at each prescription

Perhaps request trial on liquid levothyroxine?

Results suggest you are under medicated and need dose increase in levothyroxine

Take b complex, folate , vit d and selenium atm b12 injections

Remember to always stop taking any supplements that contain biotin a week before ALL BLOOD TESTS (eg vitamin B complex) Biotin can falsely affect test results

in reply toSlowDragon

Yes I do stop biotin in my b.complex Thank you.. I crashed out on my bed this is worst day ever not slept daytimes so this is telling me something
