Hi Guys,
Has anyone got lattice degeneration - how are you managing with the floaters? Are there any home remedies or alternative therapies that have helped?
Thanks,
Have TED (currently managable) epiretinal membrane & floaters. I take selenium supplements plus lutein and zeazanthin (Eye Complex 7 from Amazon) for overall eye health. I use HycoSan or Hyloforte eye drops often & wear reactive glasses as sunlight makes my eyes sore & floaters worse. Best wishes to you!
Not knowing anything about lattice degeneration, I looked for information. Found this page which seems to be heavy and serious but just about readable and has some illustrative photos.

I get floaters and sometimes find them very annoying. But never found anything that I can do about them.
I have a few eye floaters my optician said these are normal, but I have always worried about it!
I would speak to your optician. I go to specsavers who have a machine that photographs the back of the eye. It may not be related to the floaters as I found this info:
"In summary, lattice degeneration is a relatively common condition that affects the retina, especially in nearsighted people. While its presence increases the risk of a retinal tear or detachment, the vast majority of patients will never experience symptoms or complications from their lattice degeneration.
If you are diagnosed with lattice degeneration, the most important actions you can take to protect the health of your eyes are to visit your eye care provider on a regular basis and know the symptoms of a retinal tear or detachment so you can seek prompt treatment if needed."
