I followed the link given on here to my CCG info re prescribing T3. Does the info attached suggest that they do prescribe but very rarely considering these figures span the whole area & all GP practices??
CCG & T3: I followed the link given on here to my... - Thyroid UK
CCG & T3
Yes, shows they do prescribe for few people
Typically 6 prescriptions per person per year
Pretty dire then really. Is there any way of finding out which practices or endo's in your own CCG have prescribed T3? Having said that I guess if a GP has one patient on their books taking T3 they wouldn't want another!
yes, if you go back to the search page you can set it to look at an individual practice rather than a ccg... i found out there's one patient getting it from my dr's.. so i'm really looking forward to my dr telling me they "can't prescribe it ".
Just had a look - typed in surgery name but 3 came up. How do I know I've chosen correct surgery - they seem to have identifying codes? If I chose the correct surgery (which I think I did) then they have prescribed nil T3 at all, however the CCG has prescribed overall but seems very minimal!
