7 & HALF WEEKS SINCE Astrazenaca vaccine & I'm struggling still

Had my Astrazenaca vaccine on 5/3/21 & had the expected flu for 2 days.. Then felt tired. Now since then constant headaches, sinusitus, blood clots in nose, scabs in nose ( sorry euw!) eyes streaming.,sensitive to light , nose streaming, blocked nose. Gritty eyes. Heavy limbs. The headache does not respond to pain killers- I'm taking lemsip now too! "phoned GP's x 3 & 111 -they are clueless about this vaccine.. I never get headaches - This is concerning & there are many on my Twitter ( @julesserkin) that have also suffered. My next vaccine is due 21/5/ 21 & there's no way I can add more vaccine to my immune system. HELP? I have hashimotos - take NDT

This should be followed up, especially as you are having headaches. It's probably nothing to do with you having Hashimoto's but that doesn't alter the way forward. This website gives links to the processes that should be followed sps.nhs.uk/articles/reporti... . I would read up and make sure your case is escalated as it should be.

Thanks - I’ve filled in the yellow card - but GPs have been hopeless- just phone calls - antibiotics!! ( it’s a virus 🦠) have asked for an urgent call this pm.

This seems to be what your doctors should be following:

(From jimh111's link.)

I have highlighted this on my Twitter feed -

Did you get your urgent call? Did you highlight the proper, documented, course of action you want and expect them to follow?

I had a telephone call a day earlier as my symptoms headache worse - have been prescribed antibiotics for the sinusitis I’m getting them today - we are to discuss whether I will have the 2nd jab (21 may ) later on - I didn’t think I can tolerate more vaccine - GP says AstraZeneca usually not so bad 2nd jab- whereas Pfizer can be -

I will drop off those links to the surgery as a print off as we talked for over 10 mins !

I think it is very important that this is properly followed up because it might not be a good idea to have a second jab.An aquaintance's partner has been told not to have the second jab as a result of AZ side effects. We are told these cases are very rare but that does not mean they should not be thoroughly followed up.

On my Twitter timeline there are quite a few suffering for many weeks - & one lady who has gone blind since the AstraZeneca vaccine & there do seem to be a fewwho don’t want the 2nd jab. I note Matt Hancock had the AstraZeneca today ! Could be a PR push for t

Latest info from NHS England states headaches of more than 4 days duration require medical investigation , had my 2nd vaccine and the centre were keen to get this message over too.

Just go to your GP surgery and insist on further investigation or go direct to A&E.

You could try taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance. Look this up on Sarah Myhill’s website. I’m 70 and haven’t had the vaccine yet as I’m scared of it. I’ve been taking large amounts of vitamin C and vitamin D instead. I was just beginning to think I would have to have the vaccine but two posts on here today make me think I might have been correct in avoiding it. Wishing you all the best.

You might find looking at the MHRA yellow card reporting figures helpful in making your decision.

MHRA U.K. coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra gov.uk/

Scroll down the page to below “Latest News” to see the list of deaths and adverse reactions from the vaccines used in the UK.

You can't just copy links from other posts. The HU system means you only get what you see - but on most links, some of the characters have been hidden.

Thanks helvella, I wasn’t just copying from other posts, sadly I know the address very well from following the figures since the vaccines were first rolled out. It was the dots and non-spacing that was confusing me and my I-pad. Got there in the end.

You may not realise that you can edit, or delete, any posts or responses you have made here.

HealthUnlocked have produced some help for how to do this. You can find this here:

support.healthunlocked.com/...

When you edit the original post in a thread, you will also have the option to add (or remove) a single image. (To replace an image, remove the existing image, then add the new one.) This is the same process as writing a new post:

support.healthunlocked.com/...

I am pointing this out purely to ensure that you know your options. :-)

(If you make extensive changes, it is sometimes helpful to add a comment so that people can see that you have made changes.)

Please do not feel the need to respond to this.

I absolutely would NOT go for a second dose!!Why would you? You stand a 99.88% of recovering if you ever caught covid and chances are now as you’ve had the first dose you wouldn’t get it anyway.

I don’t understand the extreme push for all to be vaccinated. You’d have more than likely suffered less and you actually got covid.

I appreciate this may be controversial but I don’t understand why we push to have healthy people vaccinated for this to happen.

I really hope you improve soon xx
