I have suffered from hasimotos for about 20 years. In the last year I could feel and see my thyroid gland swelling and it use to hurt when I use to swallow. The inflammation went up and down on different days. It was becoming worrisome as it was happening more often and it waa v uncomfortable. I started taking plant based omega 3 just for general health but after taking it for about two weeks the thyroid inflammation has GONE. It has been 2 months now and no inflammation!!! Im writing this so it may help someone in a similar situation.

Plant based omega 3 has helped my hasimotos.
That’s good news. Which are you taking?
Opti 3 vetology. I take one capsule.
Omega 3 EPA and DHA
Similar to you Babaji 1971. For some reason or other back in 2020 I stopped taking Omega 3 probably because I thought I'd save a few quid. BIG mistake. My upper arms were suffering great pain, I couldn't turn my head due to neck pain, and my hips were so painful I was unable to get a good nights sleep. Doctor's was NOT at all helpful . After several weeks of this chronic pain I remembered how good and free of pain I felt when I was on the Omega 3 Fish Oil. I promptly bought some from a famous store, buy one get the other for a penny shop. I am so pleased to say all the pains I had have now totally gone except for a slight muscle ache in my neck which is slowly disappearing. I put this down to the Omega 3 300mg Active EPA/DHA 1 capsule daily. I am on 75 mcg of thyroxine daily. I sincerely encourage other folk to give this recommendation(s) a go. It can't do you any harm. All the best to all you lovelies out there .
After watching seaspiricy and learning omega is actually from the algae fish consume I too have been thinking about plant based omega. Which do you take please?
That's interesting
Are you also on thyroid medication?
And why plant based omega3, or is that because you're vegan?
Thanks for posting, I've just taken a look and seen that the supplement also contains vitamin D3. Do you think it might be the vitamin D that has helped so much, since D is important in thyroid health? Any idea of your D levels before and after supplementing with this? I'm asking because my former GP knew people who had improved on vitamin D.
