I have tried most brands in tablet forms and have suffered different side effects I was wondering if anyone is taking liquid thyroxine and if they think it is better absorbed with less side effects. Most types of medication in tablet form do not seem to get absorbed by my body.

Is anyone taking liquid thyroxine ? If so how easy is it to get your go to prescribe it ? And do you think it has less side effects ?
I was prescribed the Teva brand liquid no problem but it has glycerol in it which has same effect as mannitol in teva tablet so didn't agree with me my levels went down
I take liquid Levothyroxine Ten Pharma brand. I was switched to it from tablet form by my private only Endocrinologist to rule out any issues with the excipients in tablet form. I didn’t notice any difference. I’m still on the liquid over two years later. My GP agreed to prescribe it after being suggested by my private Endocrinologist. I’m also on T3 medication Liothyronine. It was when T3 medication was added that I had and still have a positive response, with a few blips here and there which I guess is to be expected. Also ensuring all my D, Folate, B12 and ferritin are all optimal does make a difference too.
