Hi. I'm after a bit of advice. I'm coming to the end of my last Thiroyd tablets & will be changing to Thyroid S. Can anyone tell me if I can just start taking the same dose of thyroid S as I'm on Thiroyd, or do I have to start low & build up?

Changing NDT.
Hello Print :
I would think you can do a straight swop - the breakdown of T3 and T4 as detailed on the packaging maybe slightly different - but I wouldn't think so different as to need to make dose adjustments -
Just check what the breakdown difference is, for your own piece of mind and if not sure detail the two sets of T3 and T4 on here and people will advise accordingly.
When I changed from thiroid to thyroid S I reduced the dose by 1/4 grain believing thyroid S to be a little stronger, however after a week I needed to increase back up to my previous dose. Over all I feel better on thyroid S.
Hi, can you tell me how I can get thyroid s. I can’t get Thiroyd anymore, am in metavive but they are not working, feel quite ill and weak and am so hot all the time x x please help.
Hi could you let me know too where to get Thyroid S. thanks.
Hi, I’m in the same position with last of the Thiroyd dwindling away. Please can you do me as the details as well.

When you edit the original post in a thread, you will also have the option to add (or remove) a single image. (To replace an image, remove the existing image, then add the new one.) This is the same process as writing a new post:

I am pointing this out purely to ensure that you know your options.
