Propropanol and thyroid test?

Hi again guys, I have just been prescribed propropanol for anxiety, is it ok to take the 'monitor my health' test while on this?

Propranolol affects how you use levothyroxine and usually prescribed to hyperthyroid patients

It can significantly affect thyroid results

10mg 3 times per day

i only got it today, do you advise doing my t3 test before i start taking it?

Definitely test before starting on propranolol

It significantly affects Ft4 and Ft3

Anxiety is a hypothyroid symptom

GP could prescribe something else other than propranolol

prop. affects your conversion(T4 in T3). For anxiety, you need something else.

yes i read that but i do need to take it as I have issues that are resultant from anxiety which im sure are really not helping my current health condition on effects on thyroid
