Hi all! Anyone who has seen above drs- can you please let me know your thoughts in PM? I am looking to choose a more integrative endocrinologist who considers diet, vitamins, etc ,not just l-tyroxine. Or any other endos you could recommend for hashimotos? Do they prescribe NDT/ armour/t3?
Btw, why does everyone look to be prescribed T3/armour? is it because it's "natural" and to possibly lower the dose of l-tyroxine? (I'm new to this)

T4 is a pro-hormone which has to be converted to T3 which is the active hormone that every cell in our body needs. Some people don't convert T4 to T3 well enough and in that case adding T3 to Levo, or taking NDT (a combination of T4 and T3) is beneficial.
