I’m due to have my bloods today which includes 9am cortisol. Annoyingly today a wake at 5am, instead of my usual 7.30am.
Is this going to skew my 9am cortisol and any other tests like thyroid?

No it shouldn't affect your results, the body naturally starts to make cortisol between 3-4 am in the morning so it is at it's highest level first thing in the morning. Make sure you get a copy of the results as doctors don't always understand the results. Cortisol should be at it's highest point thing n the morning & then drops through the day. Do you think your cortisol is high or low? Cortisol should be between 350-550nmol/Ls firs thing.
My 9am cortisol is always low around 160-190 usually, I’m hoping that starting T3 should push it up.
I thought wake you time impacts the release of cortisol and hence an earlier than usual wake up time may impact the release of it and hence 9am blood draw would look different vs another day when I woke around 7.30am.
Every time I have a blood test I get disrupted sleep: either I can’t sleep till 1am/2am the night before or I wake up 2 hours early on the day of the test. Must be the excitement raising my adrenaline/cortisol!
I don't think it would make a lot of difference, even if it did affect your cortisol result would be higher, but yours is still low.
