Folate spray

Hello everyone.... please could I ask for your advice?

I am trying to take some folate as my level is low but can not tolerate mannitol filler which seems to be in a lot of the tablets. Please could someone recommend a good spray that they use.

My last level was 3.93 ( 3.89- 26.8)

Thank you!

I don't know if there is a folate spray but sprays tend to contain a lot of excipients.

I use this folate supplement which contains only methylfolate and rice flour:

Funnily enough, I happened to have the Better You shop webpage open on my screen. So I had a look and saw folic acid. Clicked on it, and got Page not found. :-(

Then tried to find it every other way - and it has disappeared. That must have been in the past few days.

They do a multi-vitamin spray which includes folic acid so it certainly appears feasible. (That spray would not be appropriate.)

Hi Mollyfan. Our household uses the Better You folate spray. It’s worked a treat to bring my daughters levels up.

You can get it from amazon, eBay and other online health stores if Holland and Barratt remain out of stock. Alternatively I found another BY spray which has folate and also the B vitamins we can easily miss. I think it’s better for me despite it being marketed as a pregnancy spray!! It’s great.

It has 1000iu of vit d too. It gives you the same daily spray amount as the folate spray so depends on what requirement you have.

Hope that helps. X

Your Holland and Barrett links both get to the right pages which both say: Currently unavailable :-(

As I already pointed out, Better You themselves have removed the folate spray from their website. So likely really is unavailable at present. Of course, there might be a few bottles somewhere in the distribution/retail chains.

Yes it’s out of stock possibly permanently so I currently order them from other websites which have stock thank goodness 😃. When my stock runs out if they no longer make it the pregnancy spray is great depending on needs of course. I just love BY sprays. They are fab.

Just looked into it quickly, they’ve recalled it for some reason. It looks like it will be available again at some point 🙌🏻
