Thyroidectomy, adrenal glands and blood pressure

There are people developed higher blood pressure post total/partial thyroidectomy, is that because the adrenal glands tried to compensate for the lost/reduction of thyroid hormone by producing extra adrenal hormone and hence increased in blood pressure ?

Or both low Ft4 and low Ft3

Low vitamins if thyroid hormones are low
