Results after 8 week trial of T3

I started T3 trial gradually starting with 5mcg in morning, gradually increasing to 15mcg in November, divided through the day, although my NHS Endo prescribed 20mcg per day divided in two. I am also taking 50 mcg levo, which he reduced from 62.5mcg. My results show raised T3, so thinking of reducing T3 to 10mcg per day split into two, not sure what to do about levo. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks ☺️

How do you feel?

Ft4 is only 55% through range

Obviously Ft3 slightly over range

What was Ft4 level on 62.5mcg?

Suggest you try increasing levothyroxine back to 62.5mcg and reduce T3 to 2 x 5mcg

I feel ok, no real difference. Ft4 was around 18.Yes started 2 x 5mcg T3.

When were vitamin levels last tested

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Are you strictly gluten free

D as enclosed:- 107nmol/L (50.0-200.0)

07/04/20:-

Folate 17.6 ug/L (3.0/17)

Ferritin 205ug/L (12.0-300)

B12 887ng/L (190.0-800.0)

Vitamin D with K2 spray, Selenium, B complex, magnesium oil spray.

I have been gluten free for 3 years but hasn’t really made any difference. Thanks ☺️

Having bloods done again in 2-3 weeks.

Should have been tested 6-8 weeks after reducing T3 from 20mcg to 10mcg
