Has anyone else received private message offering them Thyroid s, and other NDT . It's someone who has just joined, it seems for this reason

I received it a couple of weeks ago and one today. Will report.
I received one with all his details not realising there was also one from the week before. Seaside susie one of the admins has taken the info to try and deal with it. Apparently he keeps changing. It's uncomfortable knowing that someone can join for a couple of days and look into everyone's history Pp
We have to be so alert to these scams PP.
There are scammers everywhere especially when it comes to health.
I agree. I'm not very computer wise but you have to consider everything. I worry for people who think because it's from thyroid UK that they can trust it 🙄 Pp

I've just acquired a follower called" Thiroid" trying to sell stuff.
Please - everyone who gets this, report it.
The more reports HU receive, the better from our point of view. 
I've reported mine but I don't know if it is the same one the others are talking about as mine was not a private message and is from someone in Thailand.
Are you sure it is from Thailand? and are they called Jan?
The only info is it joined on 22 Dec and from Thailand. It's already following 1829 people so it's targeting folks to sell something.

Just read the rest about the person and it is Jan. Don't know why I didn't read it earlier! Just reported it as was untrustworthy.
She has been on here since 22nd December and I don't think the site is bothered about stopping her.
Perhaps Christmas has something to do with it. I also filled in a report which I believe they're asking people to do Pp
I just hope the people who give her money get what they have paid for.
ThyroidUK Admin can't do anything, HealthUnlocked provide this platform and they are the only people who can.
Please will everyone bombard HealthUnlocked with reports and emails then they might be motivated to do something.
I have reported it and I have sent the person concerned a message asking why they would want to do this to people who are ill.

I know I won't but I am interested why people do this ... I think they are inhuman and it is all about the money.

Send them a message asking them why they are targeting people who are ill. I have just done this and I haven't had a reply yet ... Some people like to profit from people who are desperate to get NDT and this person is one of them.
Don't worry Pinkpeony you've brought it to people's attention and as the main page moves on with new posts then the older ones move further down and disappear from the first page. It's inevitable that some members wont have seen the previous threads about it and either start a new one or maybe add to an original one.Absolutely no use sending this person a PM asking why they are doing it to sick people or appealing to their better nature, they don't care, they have no better nature, this person is a scam artist out to defraud people, best to ignore him.
If he were genuine he would be answering these accusations publicly on the forum.

The only way someone can contact you here is either by a post on the open forum, by private message or if you have given someone your email address (which is not recommended).
If you have been offered Thai NDT from someone in Thailand since 22nd December then it is undoubtedly the same person. Please report them to HealthUnlocked.
If you received a private message (which you will see if you click on the Chat icon) then there is a report button below their message, click on that and fill in the details.
Alternatively, click on their user name to take you to their profile page then there is a report button on that page, click on that and fill in the details.
Or email the address Helvella has given you and report it that way.
Shall I make a separate post for this to see if others have had this one contact them?

I suggest you click on Report if you do get a Private Message. Or, if you have the time, email support@healthunlocked.com if you do not wish the person to follow you.

He could actually be a she I'm afraid.

It shouldn't be difficult for HU to permanently ban this person. I checked the name and email address and found her posting quite openly last November in another place, offering various batches, some old, of Thai NDTs which would be sent from Poland. She used the same email address and phone number as she gave in my message, listed batch numbers and wanted payment in Bitcoins. In another Polish forum she was selling a variety of POMs. I also found her Facebook page. My guess is that she was selling it, as well as other meds, at some time and has odd jars left.
I have seen this as well she is not a very good scammer imho.
I noticed there was a lot of Polish connections.
