SHUT DOWN?

The last post I put up was about considering trying NDT & some one shut it down or had it shut down. The only reason I can guess is that 2 others reading it made similar comments for me to stop "preaching" to them. I sometimes ask for peace upon readers, myself and others.

It may be due to the length of the responses and not what you are thinking. I had that happen once when there were so many comments.

You will have to ask admin why. I did notice someone had posted their email address on there which is not a good idea on a open forum.

I just checked the post, and think it will have been locked after whoever posted their email address, to stop them coming back and posting it again.

I have read your guidelines & feel I have abided by them all. If my saying: Peace be upon us all in these Pandemic times is religious, I believe the greatest majority of readers would disagree with you. I come from a country where we have a Constitution that says that our Congress shall make no law concerning an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. We also claim a democracy and if the majority of your readers were given a vote on this issue you would see that it is your “rules” that are wrong: as they have no truth in them whatso-ever. Oh, and may peace be upon you and us all in these horrific Pandemic times. Peace.

I agree ... I was actually banned from a site in the US because I disagreed with someone who was bringing religion onto a health site. It turned out the owner of the site was actually very religious and as it was her site we had to all abide by her rules. This site has rules and we have to stick to them and I have been warned about being too political on here in the past so I am now very careful about what I post on here.

GKeith, I’ve just had a read over the post you’re talking about and I can’t see much wrong with it. As an atheist I am never bothered with anyone who’s religious, each to their own and if it brings someone comfort to say ‘peace be upon you’ or the like then I’m all for it, to me it feels the same as ‘best wishes’ or ‘kind regards’

Having said that, what I find bonkers crazy is you saying things like ‘I was addicted to T3’ lol now that to me is just downright incorrect! Lol thyroid hormone replacement is not cocaine! There is no addiction 🤗

I do notice that you are very curious and sometimes that curiosity comes across as a little erratic, when I feel like that it’s often because my thyriod replacements not optimal and I see that you are trying to find answers. I wonder if you should take a step back, try and calm the mind. I use meditation, mindfulness, self care, you’d probably call it pray. However we go about it, it’s one on the same for me.

I grew up in a country where people killed each other for differing religious beliefs, so I’m all for everyone being able to express themselves respectfully at all times. Peace be upon you GKeith 😊
