Recent results from Monitor my health:-TSH, 0.63 (range 027-4.2)
FT4, 10.4-low (range 12-22)
FT3, 6.7(range 3.1-6.8)
Any comments?..I think improvement on last test. I am still trying to work out correct dose of thyroid-s (taking 1gramme) Thanks

Looking at your previous post when you were on 1.25 grains Thyroid-S and had the following results:
TSH 0.06(comment low) T4 15 Comment normal FT3 8.1
Since you've lowered your dose to 1 grain your FT3 is now within the normal range but your FT4 is below range.
I think what I said before still applies:
The ratio of T4: T3 in NDT may not be right for you, you may be better with separate Levo plus T3 to give a better balance.
Most of us on combination hormone replacement do need FT4 within range, where in range is very individual, you may be fine with it low in range, I need mine balanced with FT3 in the upper part of range, ideally for me about 70% through range.
Would adding on halve 25mvg levo achieve the higher FT4? or is that too simple an answer? Another case of trial and error I suppose!

It might work, but you have to remember that if you still have some natural conversion then the T4 (levo) you take may increase your FT3 level as well as your FT4 level and your FT3 is already at the very top of the range so best to reduce your T3 dose first.
So take half 1 gramme thyroid-s and 25 mcg levo?

NDT comes in grains not grammes
I would reduce NDT by 1/4 of a grain, wait 6 weeks for levels to stabilise because with NDT you are altering both T4 and T3 doses, then add 25mcg Levo.
I'm not medically qualified and this is just my suggestion and what I would do if I were you, others may have different ideas.
