Lower back pain won't abate, since Carbimazole

Hi guys

I lifted something awkwardly about 4.5 weeks ago (whilst having been on Carbimazole for about 10 days prior) and pulled my back out. In the process.

This kind of thing has happened before to me and I'm sure most people on the planet.

However, the pain usually abates and flexibility returns after a few days - week tops.

But this time, I can't shake it. The best I got to was "a lot better", but the fragility, inflexibility and slight pain never went away. Then a couple of days ago (probably from trying to do some home based lower back exercises), it pulled again (although not as acutely).

I'm just wondering if this more chronic nature could be linked to Carbimazole and /or propranolol, or if its just me and my fountain of youth is just trying and/or I'm totally unfit (covid to blame in my own defense!).

Would be good to see if anything thinks there's a link to my Graves meds, but equally if anyone has any good tips on supplements, vits or meds to help muscles, joints, lubrication etc?

For the back kain, I've been prescribed diazepam, Co codomol, and Naproxene, which while seem to help; haven't alleviated it completely (maybe I should have finished the course 1st time around!).

Usually, I'm fit & well otherwise (I think)

I am sorry that you do not appear to have received a timely response to your post/question - or perhaps you got an answer on another post or in a Private Message? Please feel free to post a new question if you wish. Posts are sometimes missed as it is so busy. Or maybe no-one who read it was able to answer?
