Absolutely. Since Actavis changed to accord I have had awful symptoms like hairloss, brain fog, blurry eyes, headaches, joint pain etc. I started taking 3x25mcg of Mercury and within two days, all the symptoms stopped but am getting severe migraines with aura. I’ve had five in 7 days so yes it’s definitely the tablets. I was doing ok on Actavis and now I either cope with these migraines or walk around bald and in pain. Not sure which is the better lol.
Thanks for that going back to chemist today to have a chat. Thanks Alec
If the onset of your headaches coincided with the starting of the Mercury brand, it is more than likely that you are sensitive to the acacia filler used by Mercury (and also Teva). If so, you will have to change brand and make sure any future medications or supplements are formulated without this excipient.
What make were you on?
I was originally on activis i was fine on them. Thanks
Which brand of levothyroxine did you have before?
When were thyroid and vitamin levels last tested
Headaches can be due to being under medicated
I've been stable on Actavis and recently switched to Accord of necessity as its the 'owner' or authorised manufacturer has changed and changed the packaging name to Accord.
I haven't noticed any difference yet. I'm a few months into the switch. We are all different though.
