Adding a picture is more helpful than listing the results, that way we can see if you follow the normal curve.
You can add a picture to your opening post, click on MORE then EDIT then ADD A PHOTO then SUBMIT (or EDIT or whatever it says). Make sure that no personal details (name, date of birth, etc) are showing in your picture.
Apologies done it now but can only add one picture. Hope it’s ok.
Hello777
That's all that's needed, unless there is anything important they have reported which you could type into your post.
It's pretty obvious you don't follow the normal curve. Optimal levels, according to
rt3-adrenals.org/cortisol_t... are:
• Morning at the top of the range - looking at the green band yours would be better around 7-ish.
• Noon approximately 75% of the range
• Evening close to 50% of the range
Your second and third samples are way too high, one reason for this could be stress.
• Nighttime at the bottom of the range - yours has fallen sharply and is heading in the right direction, but would be better near the bottom of the green band.
I can't tell you how to correct this, if they were all high then a cortisol lowering supplement might be the answer, but you have a mixed bag. Just be careful of adaptogens, these are said to be balancing but in reality they tend to lower cortisol, which you need for samples 2, 3 and 4, but you don't want your wakening sample to be any lower, you need that higher.
You could have a look through Dr Myhill's articles about adrenals, there may be something there to help:

I don't know if Hidden can help here.
It's a somewhat varied result, the variations may be due to what you've eaten or drunk prior to doing the test. It's not showing high cortisol in the evening which would point to Cushing's but neither is that low pointing to adrenal insufficiency. I think you may need to repeat the test to see if you get a different result. What were you hoping to get from this test? What symptoms are you experiencing? Both the oestrogen contraceptive pill & HRT will affect the results as will biotin which is some supplements.
Hi Pauline I have hypothyroidism and have been on levo since January. This made no difference. Then went on a combination of levo and t3 which made little difference.
Then 5 weeks ago went on ndt and I’m now on 1.5 grains a day.
So far no massive improvements but thought I’d do an adrenal test to rule it out?
A laboratory reference I have interprets saliva responses. And your cortisol result is not too dissimilar to mine (but not as good a fit to be honest) 3 years ago - referred to as Rebound Cortisol. I can send via pm if you wish.
The key difference between our results seems to be that your DHEA (and DHEA:Cortisol ratio) is low whereas mine was high then. For low, another reference I have states that low indicates "A decreased ratio generally reflects a more catabolic state. It is associated with cortisol elevations and HPA-axis imbalances". For both low and high, that reference makes various diet and wellbeing (eg stress reduction) suggestions similar to the 1st reference.
