I've also just clicked on ”no”. Such disregard for people’s healthcare is despicable.

Just clicked no.... How discusting it is.. Would they do the same with a pill for heart problems my mum had a heart attack and was on meds that kept her alive.. same with diabetes its about time this was changed... 👊

Done. We are living in a heartless country and have to suffer from a healthcare service which, in some instances, shows a blatant disregard for people's needs.
I despair 😩 As someone struggling on Levo after a total thyroidectomy I doubt I will ever feel normal or get my health back. My CCG have banned T3 and consultant refuses to discuss it with me 😢

No from me too. Is there any chance Lord Hunt can come back and construct the question in another way which may force them to answer it more fully? Its rather a missed opportunity. Is there any reason why Lord Bethall answered him?
Are there any MPs or Lords who have thyroid disease or maybe their partner/children do?
We need to find these people and get them on the case. There’s some high profile MPs inc Theresa May who have Type 1 Diabetes, there’s been some good changes in treatment options in that area over the last few years.
There have been many references to Gove's wife, and journalist, Sarah Vine.
We know she was prescribed Armour and felt so much better on it but I am not aware of any involvement with the wider community of thyroid sufferers. Maybe she is involved somehow?
If I remember correctly, we were going to approach her but then she or or her husband was negatively mentioned in the news (can't remember why) and we didn't.
She does work for the Daily Mail as well which is not exactly an honest newspaper.
There are some in the House of Lords who spoke at the last debate. We were supposed to have another debate this year and we were hoping they would speak again.

It isn't a level playing field. Just look at the way government ministers flout Covid restrictions and get away with it.
Would Gove like a few (hundred or even thousand) concubines so we could all benefit from Sarah Vine's optimal treatment?

They spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on cancer drugs for terminally ill patients to prolong their lives by a few months while they suffer with all manner of side effects and no actual quality of life, and yet for a large number of thyroid patients who will live for decades and actually get a genuine benefit from the right treatment they say it's not "cost effective". Since adding T3 I'm 100x more productive and therefore a better contributor to the economy. Millions of exhausted people is such a f***ing waste!!
Yes I agree ... every day I see women who I think are hypothyroid with thin hair, overweight and very tired looking. I was actually chatting with one of them in M & S and she told me she had been on Levo for years and her GP refused to increase her 50mcg because her TSH was in range. There must be thousands of other women in the same position and I really don't know why they would want to do that. I asked my local MP to write to Matt Hancock about our plight and even shared my story with her. Matt Hancock got one of his minions to reply to me and they are just not interested in us and I don't think it will ever change unfortunately. Sometimes I wish Boris would become hypothyroid and then perhaps he will know how it feels. That is never going to happen unfortunately.

I suggest for, " the government has no plans" that we read "Lord Bethell has no idea" and doesn't give a toss about thyroid patients.
His response to Lord Hunt is rude, dismissive, arrogant and appalling .....and lacks any intention or ability to comment on the subject.
Sorry, this is more than a tick and maybe I'm not supposed to comment here in such terms, but when we read, on a daily basis, the litany of people who are on their knees and desperate for help that response is unforgiveable.
