Hi I visited a private endo today and he gave me a script for Liothyronine (T3)

I wondered if anyone could recommend the best and cheapest way I could get this please.

I have also and would like to know. I was advised to buy from France as it’s so expensive here. If you get Pmed please also pm me any responses. Thanks. Also we have to look at the strength of it as well as the cost. Some of the manufacturers of it produce better products than others.

Depends how your prescription is written.

If it says

LIOTHYRONINE 20MCG

and is in multiples of 50 or 100 tablets then it can be sent to Germany before Brexit where it is much cheaper than in the UK.

Otherwise it will be a case of comparing prices from UK pharmacies.

Is the prescription written exactly as I put above? If it says Liothyronine Sodium you won't be able to send it to Germany.

Yes it is.. it doesn’t say sodium so I’ll send it to them

Details in the link. I've never done it. I think one of the pharmacies has already stopped filling UK prescriptions so you need to check with them. Other members use them so maybe put up a new post asking for guidance.

You need to check direct with German pharmacies before posting prescription to them .....with impending Brexit several have already stopped dealing with U.K.
