Private prescription source?

A friend of mine being treated with Liothyronine via a private Endo has until relatively recently been able to pop over to France to purchase

Cynomel 0.025mg Sanofi tablets with her private prescription.

Covid has effectively put and end to that method & she’s asked me to find out if there is a way of getting the same via the Internet ... and I must stress including using a private prescription.

Any info would be much appreciated & by all means by private message

We do not know how long this will continue to be available - I suspect we need an agreement with the EU which explicitly includes mutual recognition of prescriptions for this to continue past 31/12/2020. And it might stop being possible before then.

Another route might be to discuss with a UK pharmacy (go round as many as needed to find a helpful one) and find one which will order Ace Pharma's Cytomel from the Netherlands. Comes in 5, 12.5 and 25 micorrgam tablets. (It is NOT identical to Pfizer Cytomel form the USA.) A few members have managed this and it seems to be less expensive than any other UK-based option - but more than a retail pharmacy in Germany or France.
