Genetic testing

Hi. I wanted to know if you would know how and where to ask for the genetic test for breast cancer. I have a family history of breast cancer in the family, all the women on my mum's side have had it, including my mum. Grandma and her sister died of it. I requested the genetic test on the NHS, but according to my family history, I do not need an appointment in the Genetics Clinic. However, with endometriosis, it should be apparent that there is oestrogen dominance?

There are four breast cancer forums on HealthUnlocked.

healthunlocked.com/search/c...

I suspect they would be better places to ask this sort of question.

Reading your earlier posts I can see your VitD is low in range and you are supplementing with a maintenance dose only. grassrootshealth.net is run by a Breast Cancer survivor who created the site. There is a chart within detailing the levels of VitD needed in the body to protect you against many cancers - including breast. There is also a conversation with Carol Baggerly and Mercola on YT .. interesting.

VitD is wrongly named a vitamin - it is a steroidal pro-hormone and anti-inflammatory. Many cancers are stimulated by inflammation.
