My serum B12 level is > 2000 ng/L (> 180). Does this mean it's really high?
Thanks.

There will be a range with that result, and I'm guessing that it starts at 180 and goes up to around 700 or 800ish.
* Do you supplement?
According to an extract from the book, "Could it be B12?" by Sally M. Pacholok:
"We believe that the 'normal' serum B12 threshold needs to be raised from 200 pg/ml to at least 450 pg/ml because deficiencies begin to appear in the cerebrospinal fluid below 550".
"For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml."
So if you supplement you've gone too high and you can stop supplementing.
If you don't supplement then that is high for a natural level of B12 and maybe should be investigated by your GP.
