Do you think it would be wise to lower T4 a notch? I have lots of myxedema and am thinking that maybe lowering T4 could help if I have rt3...
In my country people with thyroid disorders say that ft4 should be half way through range or lower and ft3 at the top of range. What's your take on that?

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested
What vitamin supplements are you currently taking
EXTREMELY important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Add most recent results and ranges if you have any
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and before eating or drinking anything other than water .
Last dose of Levothyroxine 24 hours prior to blood test. (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
If/when also on T3 make sure to take last half or third of daily dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
My FT4 is halfway through the range and I am still hypo. I need my FT4 high in range with FT3 also high in range. It is a personal thing so I don't agree with your statement. In a normal body the ft3 and ft4 would be at similar percentages through the ranges.
I'm another one on combination hormone replacement who needs both FT4 and FT3 in balance around 60-70% through range. We're all different so we have to find the right balance for ourselves.
