Blood results for my thyroid

Hi

I had these taken 17/7/20. Because they were able to fit me in that day, unfortunately, I had taken my levo that morning. I have been feeling very weary plus the weight creeping on again. My doctor rang me today to say that I am overactive & to stay on 100mcg whereas I was told yesterday by your lovely administrator to increase to 125mcg & see how I go. I feel that I am hypo but would love your advice. I took 125mcg this morning.

The doctor is dosing by your TSH. If you look at your FT4 result and this is the measure of a thyroid hormone (which TSH is not) it is not near the top of the range and as you are symptomatic I would try the increase particularly as that FT4 is a false high result as you had taken your levo that day.

Thanks for this. I do feel that I need the increase. We do have to fight our corner with our GP's. They don't like being told what we think so we have to go cap in hand.
