Are you still on 100mcg Levo or did you manage to get a raise to 125mcg (think someone here advised you were undermedicated about 7m ago and suggested you asked for an increase in Levo).

Either way, you’re still undermedicated. Your TSH is well over 2 (many find they don’t feel right until it’s under 1) and your FT3 is rather low in range, which means you probably feel pretty crap.

Increased to 125mcg Levo at the beginning of the year x

When were vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 last tested?

What vitamin supplements are you currently taking

Last done in November and were pretty rubbish. Consultant didn’t take any action. Even my red blood cell was below range but still didn’t advise treatment.

Thyroid disease is as much about optimising vitamins as thyroid hormones

Vitamins need to be optimal

TSH too high. FT3 too low for most people to feel well - only 27% up the range. I would be fine with your FT4 (56% up range) but many people need it higher. It looks as though you are converting poorly. How are your vitamins and minerals? You need either a 25mcg increase in levo or a small amount of T3 added to existing levo. However, if vitamins and minerals are not optimal, improving them may improve conversion so you wouldn't need T3.

Your t3:t4 ratio is bad by my guess (someone may be able to find the appropriate link to explain it). As others have said, it's a case of inadequate replacement plus poor conversion. The latter could possibly be down to one or several minerals or vitamins being too low, or in rare cases, too high (this only tends to happen with iron due to a genetic problem).

Other causes for poor conversion are DI02 gene defect, high cortisol, inflammation, illness, antibodies.
