I’m off the get my thyroid blood test done again as recently had to change my medication. My appointment is 11.40 I haven’t eaten or drank anything I hope this is ok and I won’t get a wrong result. I had a long sleep today as very tired so haven’t been up long about an hour. Did I do the right thing or is there a risk it might come back wrong? Many thanks for any replies

Depends on when you took your last dose of Levo (last dose should be 24 hours before blood draw). Also, if your GP is dosing by TSH alone then the earliest possible blood draw is required (no later than 9am) to give the highest possible TSH to avoid a reduction in dose or to indicate an increase in dose.
Hopefully you are getting FT4 and FT3 tests done as well, these are the tests that count as these are the thyroid hormone tests, TSH is not a thyroid hormone, it's a pituitary hormone, and should not be used for adjusting dose of Levo.
