I just had a phone call from my GP's surgery asking me to make an appointment to have a pneumonia jab,I asked why and was told I was flagged up on their system, I asked why was I flagged up and she looked at the screen and said because I have Hypothyroidism , could this be true? I looked at the NHS website and hypothyroidism is not on the list for people who should have the pneumonia jab.

Unless things have changed very recently then Hypothyroidism is not a trigger for a pneumonia jab. I have been Hypo since my mid-twenties and it wasn't until I was over 60 and had developed COPD that it was suggested I had a pneumonia jab, it was the COPD that was the reason for offering the jab.
I did think it was odd, I spoke to a respiratory consultant last week and she said I may have Bronchiectasis and I going to need a CT scan on my lungs and my heart
I also have Bronchectasis, it's confirmed by CT scan.
Do you have any diagnosed respiratory illness on your medical record (often is before Bronchiectasis as not many GPs know much about Bronch) as that would probably have triggered the invitation for the jab.
