Serum ferritin level

My last value for ferritin was 15ng/l then doctor prescribes me iron tab for three months but now the level is 326ng/l normal range is 20-250ng/l .Now the level is higher than normal.can it may be dangerous?

Did your ferritin level rise that much in just 3 months?

When you did your latest test did you leave the iron tablets off for 7 days before testing and fast for 12 hours with just water to drink before the blood draw?

Have you now stopped taking the iron tablets?

What has your doctor said?

Yes I stopped iron tab from last two months
