Undiagnosed!!!

Hello. I had overactive thyroid which has not been properly diagnosed by the GP or endocrinologist for the past 3years. I’m taking propylthauracil even though I’ve been euthyroid for over a year now. I’m thinking of stopping the medication since no evidence of either Hashimoto or Graves. I need advice please. My last blood test was in February with TSH 0.55 and T4 14.7 and i have no goiter. Thanks in anticipation.

Were your antibodies tested?

TRAB or TSI for Grave's.

TPO and Tg antibodies for Hashi's.

What were your blood test results at the time you were prescribed propylthauracil?

Why won't your doctor take you off the propylthauracil if you're euthyroid?

Thank you for replying greygoose. I have neither of the results. I was on carbimazole for 2years until last year when I started considering trying to conceive(I didn’t anyways). As for taking me off the meds I have no idea. And I can’t get appointment to see the endo.
