This is just to let you know that we have launched our new website today. Some of you may not be able to access it for a few hours but don't worry, you will be able to see it soon.
If you see any errors, do let us know. It's not completely finished but we wanted to launch it rather than wait.
The design may change again over the next few weeks and we will be adding various things as we go along.
It isn't just the main address that's the cause of your bookmarks no longer working. You'll get 404s now for all your bookmarks because it is a completely different layout. Nothing is in the same place on the new website, and no redirects to any of the new pages have been set up. Every link to a TUK website page that's ever been posted on this forum will no longer work either
I think we are all confused as to why it is not simply being re-directed? If I go to thyroid.org.uk, I see the following:
SORRY!

The Privacy & Cookies Policy link at the bottom of the page has little effect on a nice big screen.
But on a small phone screen it really does take up space and obliterates things. If it disappeared automatically, that might be acceptable but permanently getting in the way isn't.
