Page Change? I can see it’s had an update.

I am sure this used to be the same page for all different medications in a list format, or is that somewhere else on the website? I found it very useful.

Yes, well spotted HealthStarDust! The whole website has been updated and unfortunately this and other pages are much less useful than previously. The admin team have already alerted TUK to this, and asked that it, and the Testing companies pages, be returned to their 'all in one place, easy to browse through' status.
Having to fill in a form and wait for a TUK staff member to email you the list of medications is really not helpful!
Thankfully, we have helvella on board who does an amazing job of keeping us all up to date with his own list of meds and so much other thyroid related info.
Absolutely. We’d be lost without helvella
I requested a copy and have had it email by TUK immediately but it’s is not as easy to browse through as it was in the list/chart ish format it was on the site. I can imagine for those of us who are suffering symptoms of thyroid disease coupled with other barriers such as learning difficulties, this document has become more of a hindrance rather than a helpful measure. I think I’ll email that feedback to them.
The vast majority of web designers have never experienced the bewildering brain fog that many members here have to deal with. Actually, even some thyroid patients don't experience it either. Ideally, this new site would have been beta tested by some of us before going live. But obviously that wasn't considered necessary.
You have to request it …..

Really? I hadn't actually tried it, assuming it would be emailed as such things were previously. Would be more helpful if that was stated on the page!
It does arrive. But would have been very helpful to explain that!
Hi <>,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Please download the latest version of our List of Medications for Hypothyroidism.
You may also find our Endocrinologist List useful as it covers both NHS and private practitioners.
These GPs and practitioners are not 'Thyroid UK approved'. We do not make recommendations; our lists are for information purposes only.
Our online community is also a good place to look if you need help and support, and our Information Pack contains even more useful information.
If you like this email, why not make a donation or even better, join us and become a member of Thyroid UK?
Regards,
Thyroid UK
PS. Have visited our Our Shop yet?
Ah,ok, so a sort of marketing ploy to get you to donate or buy something. Hmmm, that doesn't sit well with me. But it's the way of things these days I suppose.
helvella's medicines documents (UK and Rest of the World) can be found here:
helvella - Thyroid Hormone Medicines
helvella has created, and tries to maintain, documents containing details of all thyroid hormone medicines in the UK and, in less detail, many others around the world.
This link takes you to a page which has direct links to the documents from Dropbox and Google Drive, and QR codes to make it easy to access from phones.
The UK document contains up-to-date versions of the Summary Matrix for tablets, oral solutions and liothyronine available in the UK.

Don’t you think I went to this instead anyway? Which I am so grateful for of course. I just preferred the TUK website list. It made it much easier 😌
It would be more useful if it were more up to date!
The email list or your own download list? I assume the email list.
The email list!
For example, it still includes Northstar Levothyroxine as if a current product. And misses Sigmapharm./Viatris Liothyronine.
Indeed, just yesterday I found something I need to add and it will be done by Monday.
However, I am re-working my document to make it easier for me to maintain, to address some issues I am aware of, and (hopefully) easier to read on small screens. (Reducing pages size to A5).
It might take a while for the new format to be made available simply because it is a lot of work.
Does anyone know how I can feedback to TUK about this? It’s just doesn’t sit right with me that one of the most useful pages on thyroid medication has been altered like this.
