Hi

I received a phone a call from Boots last Wednesday telling me that they (Boots) were having trouble locating mercury pharma liothyronine, I rang Boots yesterday and was told that they are still having trouble locating mercury pharma liothyronine. Has anyone else been able to source mercury pharma liothyronine from Boots.

Yes, picked up mine from Boots a couple of days ago! So there must be some somewhere in the system.

In the past, people have suggested ringing the manufacturer to check supply is coming out.

My local pharmacy refused to order mercury pharma ,they had so many problems trying to order mercury pharma, they gave up ,so I went to Boots.

I haven't been able to get Mercury Pharma for a few months now. My private chemist says that they have tried everywhere but no luck .Jo xx

I rarely use Boots but was able to get mine from Asda last week.

My wife rang ADVANZ Pharma and was told there is no problem with supply and to tell Boots alliance has supplies, rang Boots explained ,they rang me back and said I can pick my mercury pharma liothyronine up this afternoon.

Hi, I was also told my Boots yesterday that the Mercury brand was long term out of stock. I have today called Advanz ( who replaced Mercury ) and was told that there is no problem with stock and they distribute through Alliance Healthcare. So frustrating to have this problem every time I try to get this medication. Will now get on to Boots.

A lady at Boots said the product code she enters into boots system for Mercury Pharma, is automatically changed to the generic brand before it gets to the warehouse, you need to tell boots you know this.
