Thyroid connection to tinnitus?

Hi all, apologies if you have read my post already on the heart group but I kind of feel this group could also give me advice. Could there be a link here with thyroid nodules and myself suffering now from tinnitus? I am diagnosing myself saying tinnitus but it’s a continuous whistling in both ears. With regards to nodule, they found one they classed as U3 and was having MRI but due to the pandemic it was cancelled . I wondered if anyone could tell me if there could be a link to the thyroid? I will admit to being very anxious and stressed, I also have cervical spondylitis in my neck and do feel within myself this does stem from being very stressed and having very tight muscles in neck and shoulders oh and I have a frozen shoulder too! Tinnitus can be a symptom of hypothyroidism and can also be due to low B12.

Hi I don’t have either under or over active thyroid according to dr just one module that looks a little different. So I’m on no meds for thyroid

I'm not saying your Tinnitus is definitely due to either of those causes, but they can be. Maybe test B12.

I don’t have nodules but I do have tinnitus. I think it is either from Hashi’s or a side effect of the synthetic thyroxine. Not sure which but I know it is very annoying. I also am permanently light headed and quite anxious/ stressed quite a lot of the time. I think it improves when I am away from home —even on a work trip - after a few days.
