T3 and T4 Levels

It has been suggested that I post my blood tests results in relation to the question I have put up recently about taking carbimazole long-term and other options (see my last post). Here is my T3 and T4 results - over this period my doses have varied between 5mg - 10 - 15 - 20 - 30 - 15 (which I was on until a couple of weeks ago, and am now on 20mg as my endo said that the levels were going up again. I will post the TSH in next post as the system does seem to cope with uploading more than one image per post.

Do you happen to know what your levels were at diagnosis? Were your antibodies tested before getting a diagnosis of Grave's?

Not sure but I'm going to go back though my notes and try to give a better picture. Thanks for trying to help. Will post as soon as I've worked the information

Your history appears very similar to mine. I am sure many on the forum would like to comment. However they may like me be having difficulty following the course of your Graves and how it is being treated. Could you repost or give information on your background along the lines.

Treated with 50mcg levo in 2017 when blood test showed ???

Ranges TSH 0.3-5/ fT4 12-22/fT3 3.1-6,8

Became hyperthyroid in 2018 when blood results were fT4 ? fT3 ? TSH negligible.

Started on 5mg. Carbimazole. Results in May 2019 were ???

Dose of Carbimazole raised to 10 mg.

Blood results Sept. 2019 were ???

And so on. This will make it easier for people to follow and comment. As your thyroid hormones don't appear to have ever been very high it is surprising you were on 30mg. carb at one point.

Okay I will go back though my notes and post a synopsis... might take some time!

I think that would not only help others comment but would help you too. A summary of the course of your disease noting thyroid levels when TED started or when you felt hypo or hyper can help with future decisions in your treatment. Eg. if my fT3 drops below half way in range my eyes are affected which is useful to know. To complete the picture mention any antibody tests eg. TPO, TRab or if Vitamins were ever checked. That should keep you busy during lockdown !
