Which brand do you take? New meds to the body can do this especially steroids. Have you had your folate checked? Biotin supplements can help. Especially with thinning.

Yes I had my folate checked. Cymbole, (bad spelling) is the name of my t3 medicine. Thank you for responding

T3 shouldn't as it is the Active Thyroid Hormone. However, some people find that they have hair loss when hypothyroid.

Being hypo and undermedicated makes your hair fall out.

Low ferritin or low zinc often linked to hair loss

I had hair loss when I was hyperthyroid. You can suffer with hair loss when you are both overactive and underactive. Unfortunately when the body is under stress hair is the first thing it gets rid of because it is not needed. I actually had hair extensions to hide my hair loss when it was really bad. It is hard enough feeling ill but to lose you hair as well can really knock your confidence. Also having low Ferritin can cause hair loss I was told by a hair loss support site in the USA that Ferritin needs to be over 80 for hair growth.
