I hope it takes things forward - not all the speakers are American so a more universal stance should happen. However the geneticists seem to have some part to play though I hope they don't hog the whole proceedings.
About time too! Hope they come up with some serious changes to the way it is managed.

What a shame it’s been cancelled but hopefully it will happen when this is all over. When ........ At least a shows a movement in the right direction. This is just what we need. A conference in a beautiful location that lots of doctors will want to go to and maybe even some of the pharmaceutical companies too.
Perhaps they are sadists. They arranged the conference knowing full well that coronavirus would give them a legitimate excuse to cancel it.
I must be getting very cynical, because the same thought crossed my mind!
Maybe they could have a virtual conference? Perhaps emailing one another, or a video chat?
