I’m not sure this is even thyroid related but since I’ve been hypothyroid I’ve had iron issues. I had my second infusion 10 days ago and I’ve felt no better since having it. I’m still breathless, energyless, feeling heavy and palpitations. Last night I had a really bad episode....out of nowhere my legs went totally weak, my heart rate was up to 150, it’s unusual for mine to be over 111, dizziness, head pain, tingling all over. It passed after about half an hour but it left me feeling really weak, I tried to sleep it off but I woke at 2am with crippling stomach pain. I don’t feel sick, I haven’t got diarrhoea or anything but I’ve got a continual bad pain in my stomach that gets worse in waves. It’s all across my stomach, into both hips and up under the left side of my rib cage.

Have you increased your Levothyroxine by 25mcg yet? I am asking because your previous thread showed you were undermedicated and needed an increase. When I was underactive because my T4 and T3 levels were too low and had similar symptoms. I was virtually bedridden and some days I would lie in bed all day too exhausted to even wash or dress.

No, the doctor referred me to the endo and he would only test tsh. I can’t remember the numbers but my tsh was in range but at the very top end of the range. He’s told me that when he sees me in 3 months he may consider increasing by 25 mcg 😩

Most people need their TSH to be 1 or lower and their T4 and T3 to be in the upper third of the range. My Dad is 78 and he takes 100mcg of Levothyroxine because he is classed as elderly. As I said before you need to see a different Doctor because this one is just going by the TSH and is keeping you ill. You can be referred to any Endocrinologist in the UK with a referral letter from your GP.

Are you supplementing a good quality daily vitamin B complex (one with folate in)?

Your TSH is far too high indicating you need dose increase in levothyroxine

Adrenals struggling as result
