Just wanted to point up that the 25 mcg Levo I have been given recently are a markedly bigger size than the 100 mcg. I really had to ponder this for a while but chemist said may be different manufacturer.
This is good if you need 12.5 mcg as they have a line and are easily divided in half but I do think the doctors / chemists should warn people as mistakes could happen. As I am on 125 mcg I have been filling my pill box correctly but occasionally have an extra 25 mcg from another pill compartment often using size as a guide.
If someone has visual problems it could be a problem. I was out of synch once with with pills so had lots of the smaller 25 mcg left which I used x 5 to make one dose.
Anyway just be aware!

I got some MASSIVE 25 mcg tablets recently - much bigger than the 100s - and found I'd been given Teva. I also have a few Mercury 25 mcg tablets and they're much smaller - and taste nicer than the Teva. Note to self: check what I get next time and ask pharmacist not to give me Teva.
Now I’m used to them I quite like them as they are certainly easier to halve then the tiny ones and I could do with upping my dose at times but not by 25mcg!
We usually encourage everyone to keep aware of what make of levothyroxine they are dispensed. Some people do not find that they can swap makes without any problems.
